FAQs

Most background checks will typically take 1-5 business days to complete.

A Pre-Adverse Action letter is a notice from your employer that they may disqualify you due to items reported on your background check. This gives you a chance to review your report, dispute any items that you see that are incorrect or incomplete, or to offer a statement of explanation regarding the reported items to your employer.

Our Customer Support Team is here to help! You can reach us 9am-5pm MT at (866) 886-5644 or at support@victig.com.

If you filled out a questionnaire and checked the box to receive a copy, one will be sent to you as soon as your report completes. If you did not check the box, or did not fill out a questionnaire, please feel free to request a copy at any time through our live chat, email, or by phone.

A 613a letter is a notice required by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) that informs an applicant about potentially adverse public record information—like criminal history—that is being reported to an employer during a background check. It does not indicate any sort of decision, it is simply your right to know that your report is going to contain this information.

If you are seeing something that is incorrect or incomplete on your report, please contact us in one of the following ways:

By Email: disputes@victig.com

By Phone: (866) 886-5644

Or let our support team know and they will get you to the right place!
